Wonders of techology
Hank stood up and switched off the new color set, which had been working perfectly since the repairman replaced that valve. He wondered how he ever got on with black and white. He stepped into the hallway just as Rita was putting the phone receiver back on its cradle. The AT&T man had only just installed it last week. Bright, shiny white plastic, replacing that ugly old black Bakelite. Rita had bought a new mahogany telephone table with a built-in seat so she could make her calls in comfort.

A sign of the crimes
These short stories are all of the murder-mystery and general crime genre. Each presents a puzzle, inviting the reader to solve it. Then again, you could say that about any fictional story... other than the most predictable. All these tales are written by me, Raymond G. The Buzz begins
Zzzzzp… zzzzzzzp… zzzp... zzzzzzzzzp... zzzzzzp.. zzzp.. zzzzzzzzzz… TZAP ! Grace shuddered at the sound, as another fly sizzled on the barbecue bars of the violet electric fly trap that hung above her father's grocery store counter. Grace couldn't bear that noise and was determined to smash the dread device. When the store closed for lunch, Grace tiptoed out and stood on a chair, reaching up.
