The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Steffy is possibly in a coma but what about Finn?

Is Finn dead or alive?

Many fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have Tyler Novlan down for the count as his character appears to be dead. On Friday he was shot by Shelia Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and lost a lot of blood. He also said goodbye to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jackie Wood) and asked her to take care of their daughter.

This cliffhanger scene along with the rumors that Novlan has been fired as well as his not getting significant air time has fans up in arms. Everything seems to be pointing to the actror departing the CBS soap but nothing definite has been revealed.

Not so long ago spoilers teased that Paris Buckingham might seduce Finn which angered fans of the doctor and Steffy, B&B viewers continue to point out that Novlan was underutilized on the CBS soap. Now he has been shot by Sheila and his wife's portrayer is going on maternity leave. If Steffy has been shot or knocked unconscious by her deranged mother in law she will need time to recuperate.

B&B teased a big event

Spoilers say Sheila is going to turn to Deacon and possibly go on the run but nothing concrete has been said about Finn. B&B execs teased about a month ago that a big twist was coming that fans were going to hate but Steffy being in a coma is not it. Viewers know that Wood is pregnant and will need time off so it's expected that something dramatic will take her away from the screen.

Finn dying at the hands of Sheila would truly be something the fans would hate and come as a shock to some but not all. The Bold and the Beautiful has not done a good job of using Finn and the last time Wood was out on maternity leave he may as well have been with her because he did not get much air time.

The future is unpredictable

For this reason some spoilers and fans have Finn dead and buried but others believe the alley scene was a set up to distract vierwers. If he lives then what will be so shocking that viewers will not like it? Sheila pulling the trigger and shooting her son and hurting Steffy is simply Kimberlin Brown's character doing what she does best. Thsi would not be the huge shakeup that B&B promised or is it?

There are 3 things known for certain and the first is that Jackie Wood is going to take time off to have her baby and something will be done to explain her absence. The second is that Sheila's time is running out and she should be leaving pretty soon because she has caused enough damage this time around. The third is that the rumor mill as well as his lack of on-screen presence suggest that Tanner Novlin is on his way out.

The immediate future for the Forresters, Logans, and Spencers is looking pretty bleak but it will not always be this way. Ashley Jones i returning as Bridgette Forrester and may play a part in saving Steffy's life and spoilers say Deacon Sharpe (Seasn Kanan) will be the one to happen upon the gruesome scene. It's not clear whether or not he will turn Shelia in or cover for her but this will make for some interesting action on The Bold and the Beautiful.
