Mixed Reactions After Deyemi Puts Mouth in Toyin Abraham's Current Drama

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham is the trending topic of the day following a troll getting picked up by the police after a report that the actress made against him. Since then, Toyin Abraham has been accused of being a 'bully', of arresting the boy's mother, and of using her power to 'oppress' the troll. Toyin Abraham is denying all of this saying:

TOYIN ABRAHAM: I made a report at cybercrime cos the threat to life and curse and threat on my family were beyond what I can take, as for me abuse me, insult me pls say anything to me please. You can abuse and call me names it's fine and like said I will accept and take it in cos I'm in the public eyes but cursing kids and lying it's what I won't accept and lastly I NEVER and will NEVER arrest anyones mum. I made a report at cybercrime as a citizen.

This is all coming after an X user, Ayo, whose name is now trending on the app with the hashtag #FreeAyo, made a defamatory tweet about Toyin Abraham saying: "Mrs @toyin_abraham1 walai aiye e ti ta!! You collect Tinubu money use do hair transplant for your husband...Stupid fool."

That is the tweet that reportedly started all this. Now, fellow actor Deyemi Okanlawon is throwing his thoughts into the conversation and his words are being met with mixed reviews. Here's what Deyemi had to say.

Taking to Twitter, Deyemi Okanlawon made an open plea to Toyin Abraham saying:

DEYEMI OKANLAWON: My dear sister @toyin_abraham1 , I know you to be very kind, loving person & also know that beyond filing a petition you have neither the intention nor the power to force an arrest so I ask that you pls temper justice with mercy.

I've seen utterances & threats against you & your family cos of your political choices and, while I know how frustrating and scary they are, pls understand that they're mainly empty threats borne out of the anger we all share. Jo ma binu, pls withdraw this case & let peace reign.

However, after making his post, the reactions to it were mixed with one person saying "Deyemi, please just rest. I no too dey like this modern day actors, but I like you, please don't get dragged into this issue and stain your white." while another said "That's why I like Deyemi. Others will not talk."
