Iran claims to have shot down a US fighter jet, Trump's new threat: Hellfire will be poured on Iran in 48 hours. The Strait of Hormuz is closed, global economic conditions are going from bad to worse.

Report: Journalist Malik Sarfaraz Hussain Awan Warplanes hovering over the waves of the Persian Gulf and submarines at the bottom of the sea have brought world peace to a point where every path back is a pile of gunpowder. The recent 48-hour deadline given by President Trump has created a tremor not only in Tehran but also in the capitals of the whole world. The tone of the White House is no longer diplomatic, but has become a prelude to a military operation that could change the entire geography of the Middle East. This evening of April 4, 2026, is being written in the darkest chapters of history, where nuclear facilities and public centers are directly targeted.

Despite this intense pressure, Iran has clearly refused to bow down. Tehran’s defense officials say that they will not surrender to any threat that strikes their national sovereignty. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have claimed that they have successfully targeted and destroyed a US A-10 fighter jet that violated maritime borders. This incident occurred when US planes were flying near Iranian shores. The destruction of this plane has proven that Iran’s defense system is fully alert to respond to any major aggression. This tough stance of Iran has proven that it prefers confrontation to any “deal”.

US President Donald Trump has reacted strongly to this retaliation, announcing that if Iran does not reconsider its behavior and immediately reopen international shipping lanes in the next 48 hours, the United States will not hesitate to rain down "hellfire." Pentagon sources say that US bombers and naval vessels have already taken up positions to hit their targets. Washington's real anger is over the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which has caused a global energy crisis. President Trump has made it clear that the morning of April 6 will be a doomsday for Iran that was never imagined.

The global economic situation is getting worse by the minute due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices have increased sharply around the world, as a result of which the entire supply chain system has been disrupted. From Asia to Europe, stock markets are crashing and investors are panicking. Experts say that if the shutdowns continue for a few more days, the global economy will plunge into a major crisis that could take decades to recover from. The blockade of shipping routes is also affecting the supply of food and medicine, which is a sign of a major humanitarian tragedy. Warehouses around the world are emptying and ordinary people’s lives have become unmanageable.

Israeli attacks have also added fuel to the fire. There are ongoing reports of casualties and damage from explosions near the Bushehr nuclear facilities and strikes on Iran’s industrial centers, especially the petrochemical hub of Mahshahr. Israel claims that it has crippled Iran’s steelmaking capacity in order to dismantle its military might. In retaliation, Iran has fired missiles at Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, causing panic there as well. The missiles launched from Yemen have proven that this fight has now become multi-faceted and all supporters of Iran are ready to jump into this war.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has made it clear that if their nuclear facilities are targeted, the radiation emitted will engulf the entire region. He says that Arab countries should understand that in the event of a nuclear accident, toxic gases do not see borders and will also fall under its influence in Riyadh, Dubai and Kuwait. This threat is like a nightmare for the Gulf states, which are currently caught in the conflict between the United States and Iran. Iran has now announced that it will go to its last limit without taking any "warning" into account.

Countries around the world are moving towards economic destruction day by day. And in such a situation, they are only formally condemning it with loss. And no one is taking immediate and effective measures to stop this war and save the global economy and human lives. Global silence and neutral official statements do not seem to be successful in saving world peace and the global economy. And it is clear that the Third World War has begun behind the scenes. Powerful countries are busy fighting for their interests, while humanity is sighing and international institutions are merely playing the role of spectators.
