I walked into the room, and John started to sing:
Ohhh... John is so smart
and Denise is a fart
Ohhh... John is a tart
And the laughter was on... I said, "Oh really, you are a tart? Perfect! I will not forget this! Serves you right for calling me a fart!!"
So then it was a perfect time for Talking Hearts cards:
If you met me today, where would you take me on a date? I would take you to a Mexican restaurant, or we would go to Pizza Ranch. Two of his favorite restaurants, where he likes the taco salad with french dressing, and the open buffet of desserts and pizza.
For a first date, you could try to impress me.
If I were just meeting you today, how would I know what would impress you? Would you rather I say McDonald's, Arby's, or DQ? That wouldn't be me trying to impress you!
What did you have on your mind last night? His answer: Becky. Our youngest (40-year-old), married almost three years, is having difficulty in her marriage. She hasn't returned his call, but he has noticed some troubling Facebook posts.
I said, did you remember to turn her over to God? He just walked away. Easier said than done, I guess.
My honey bunny
Is my Easter funny
We laugh daily
And rarely
have words
He is my songbirds
sometimes sweet
he knows the beat
Sometimes sour
depends on the hour
~
Time to plant flowers
but there is too much snow
it should be rain showers
Time for the snow to go
~
The robins and crows were here
just the other day. Not here now, that's clear
Today, our motorcycles are sitting idle.
Much longer is enough to be suicidal!
Not really, but we do get anxious
There is such a thing as overanxious.
~
Daughter sent pictures of baby chicks
Cuties come covered in feathers
Not for me. Hubby gets kicks
out of chicks. Until he remembers
The poop all over the owner's places.
Not me, I prefer peeps, those cute faces
~
Okay, where is the funny
in this Easter bunny
Antivirus is a pain
when they are the bain
of my existence today
Help me. Please help me
to rid me of McAfee
and gleakies
Time for you to have a good day!
Me too, Boo. Okay?
Tomorrow is honey bunnyday!

I love this. Sounds like you two have a great time and marriage.
Cute, a couple who have poetic humor
Your husband sounds very much like mine, especially with the sarcasm. It's a good job we know how to throw it back, isn't it, Denise?
