Letter to Mother Nature
The Lady Should Explain Things...

Dear Mother Nature,
Ice but with heat,
Sun but with cold...
We cannot follow
what we've been sold.
*
Weather-patterned
and long-seasoned,
People want change
(you can think of the reasons).
*
But you do not do
what we expect of you
(a Sylvia Plath feeling there...)
Ach, du...
*
Records have been set.
Plans won't be met
(broken trees and rough snow...
what else will we get?)
*
So, no more surprises.
No more heavy disguises.
We know this is the deal
more than one realizes...
*
We love you dearly,
and quite clearly...
from You Know Who.
Yours Sincerely,
...
XOX

Yep! Ya never know what you're going to get. We had large tree branches come down in our yard a couple week ago after an ice storm and one hit one of our cars. I respect the mother of nature. Her wrath is unpredictable.
Nicely done and yeah, we want answers Ma Nature!
Fantastic, Kendall!!! Spot on and so well expressed ππ
This was so on point! You nailed it!
Exactly what a poets' coffee table should sound like when discussing the weather. Bravo!
Yep. Outa' the park. Well done, Kendall!
How can I say anything better than Dana. Well done
The pitcher steps on the mound, winds up, releases the curve ball, swing batter batter, swing <klonk> it's a home run. The crowd goes wild! Love it! Very well done!
