Question Time

i've got a "light up list"

all very exclusive

and slightly intrusive

but only if i let it

my mouth

it likes to make noises

that drown out

the voices

yet sometimes -

sometimes

i

just

drown

and so

bearing this in mind

i must persist

and not let time

bend or break

my fledgling list

there will be:

persuasion evasion

internal coddling

external remodelling

toy perversion

joy diversion

with the covers blown

the pleasure unknown

cannot be construed

as coercion

wrought in my mind

shaped by my hand

slapped on a table

shown a rough plan

tempered with tenderness

hardened by the fire

cooled by natural wonder

and the promise of desire
