Seduction

The time has come to surrender to each others needs

Seduction

The night is soft, the lights are low

a glance exchanged, the pace is slow

your hand near mine, it barely stays

yet lingers long in hungry ways

A whisper falls against my skin

the game of where and how begins

the touch is brief, the pull is near

a teasing thrill of what we fear

No need for haste, no need for more

the silence opens every door

your eyes have written what they crave

and I am willing, strong, and brave

The wine runs dark, the air runs thin

I feel the heat that draws you in

a smile that promises the rest

a mouth that dares, a heart confessed

So let the night undo the day

let reason fall and rules give way

for in this space, with nothing planned

I take your soul into my hand.

Very nice, Maire. I loved the way it bounced along, enticing you to read more and more.

This could be a good start to a romance novel along with the image. Good job.

  • Seductive words indeed
