It’s okay

It’s not your time to go

Your not crazy

The sounds of bells and whistles in my head

Every time I get a negative thought in my head

These sounds in my head bring me back to my reality

That I am good

Loving

Kind

Compassionate

It’s going to be alright

You’ve got this life your living

It’s not the hell of sadness or disaster

That you think it is

You are loved

Your family does care

They may just not know how to deal with your intense emotions

You have at times

Of negative thoughts

In your head

of wanting to end

Because you think the pain will go away

But, instead you bring the pain

By doing something so selfish

So instead you take care of the sounds in your head

You go to therapy

You use your coping strategies of writing your thoughts down

Taking deep breaths as your moving from one yoga position to the next

You cry, tears of joy or sadness

With no judgment

while laying down by yourself

To bring you back to the person you once were.

The kind

Thoughtful

Beautiful person you are

Aww, this is sweet and quite reflective. I'm going through a lot of mind seesaws. I think that university that hired me is going to re-neg on the deal. I just have that feeling. I haven't gotten the offer letter yet, and I'm just not so sure I'm going to get it. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic or worrying too much, but I haven't had the best past and I'm afraid of being judged and rejected at this point. {{sigh}} I'll keep you posted. Again, lovely poem. I'm learning so much about you!
