Weather The Sea Storms

Amazing to see yet fearful too

Weather The Sea Storms

The sea does not wait,

it does not ask if you are ready,

it rises when it rises,

and you are left to face it

as you are.

I have watched it before,

from a distance that felt safe,

thinking I understood its movement,

its patterns, its moods.

But being inside it is different,

being caught in that force,

wave after wave

without pause,

without space to breathe.

You cannot control it,

you cannot slow it down,

it does not hear you,

it does not change for you.

I tried to stand against it,

to hold firm,

to prove I could withstand it,

but strength means little

against something endless.

So I learned something else,

not control,

not victory,

but endurance.

To stand when I can,

to bend when I must,

to let it pass through

without losing everything I am.

Because storms like this

do not just pass,

they leave marks,

they reshape what they touch,

and you do not leave them

the same as you entered.

What a fantastic lesson of life. Each day can produce a storm; we just have to strong enough to face whatever comes. This should have gotten Top Story. It's brilliant.
