The Pink Mob
Okay, I know this story may be hard to believe, but bear with me. Last year I took a mini vacation. Truth be told, I was traveling to Belize, to help my father pack up his father's condo, after the passing of his father. They had been estranged for more than 20 years and after a brief reunion, he found him, permanently sleeping, in the chaise lounge, by the pool.

Daylight Can Wait
Phantom shadows pierce the light That linger down the hall Creating diamond shaped reflections Cascading, dripping down the wall * My mind drifts off to places I have never seen before A maraud of new emotions Crowding through my ravaged soul * Messages held deep inside Memories of long ago Release with long lost pleasures Of a time I used know * Like stepping off into the water Bubbles rising to the top Coolness gently soothes my skin Happiness - an inside job * I rollover, grab my pillow Daylight can wait awhile for me While I dream about the shadows Sleeping in my room for free

Silhouettes and Dreams
Dragonflies on silvery stems Leaf roadways towards the sun Rising slow, effortlessly climbs Colors swirl, blending as one * Delicate silhouettes appear, softly on moon lit paths Sea glass cottages enjoy the view Sparks of madness, glorious dreams - Spell bound dreamers still pursue * Dreamlike states of consciousness Euphoric expressions to explore Lingering long after slumber ends Outside my bedroom door
