Hitting The Bullseye
Before you get worried, this piece isn't about target shooting. No, the bullseye in question is one's purpose in life. Recent work challenges have made me consider my life's purpose. We ask questions like "Am I walking the right path in life?" "Why does it always feel like I'm in the wrong situation?" "Why can't I ever get this right?", and the heaviest question of all, "What is my destiny?"

Bear Hugs
Each of us must know someone who doesn't quite know how to say "I love you," be it a spouse or parent. The lack of demonstrativeness can be a little disconcerting and leave one feeling a little unappreciated. Coming from Asia, where people have this tendency, a lack of expression of feeling is a norm for some.

Anyone who has lived life for a period will realise that it is a bundle of contradictions. We contradict ourselves most of the time, sometimes making a statement that supports one perspective while our actions reflect quite the opposite.

The Coffee's on Me
Isn't kindness and generosity a rather didactic, altruistic idea meant for children's picture books? It's not unusual to equate acts of kindness with dramatic acts of heroism, perhaps saving someone from a fire or making an extra large donation to a charity.
