Challenge
A Book For The Better
When I saw this challenge appear, I thought that it was going to be a breeze. Talk about a book that changed me. Easy. All I had to do was pick one of the countless books that I’ve read and write about it. But it wasn’t a breeze. As it turns out, thinking about the powerful impact of books isn’t something that comes easily when you really put your mind to it. Sure, thinking of book titles was easy enough, but none of them seemed to really ignite that spark within me that truly represented growth and change. However, there was one book that kept coming to mind more than any other, and that book was Neil Gaiman’s, “The Graveyard Book.” I devoured that book. I read the entire thing in two sittings and I was hungry for more.

The After Series
I know what everyone must be thinking, how did a modern day love story change your life? Their are so many classic novels, self help books, and everything in-between. I've read many books in my life and there have been many that have changed me in different ways. This series however changed me in a way I never would have expected, and series I never knew I needed. To back track I actually heard about this series long before it was made into movies or available in book stores. It was back during the One Direction craze and a friend of mine had told me about this fan fiction on Wattpad based on Harry Styles. I tried reading it, but for whatever reason at the time I couldn't quite get into it.

The Prompt Write about a book that changed you. Read more about this here I chose the title, a question mark because I don't know the title of the book that had the biggest influence on my life. I don't know the name of the book but I think it was a French translation. There was a dog called "Socks", that, as far as I know, is not an English pet name.
