Beavis and Butt-Head Do America (1997)
Forget the forever overhyped Office Space. This is the one Mike Judge movie you need to see. Beavis and Butt-Head literally do America in this farce that sees Demi Moore and Bruce Willis deliver some of the strongest work of their acting careers. This was definitely overlooked by the Academy.

Dirty Dancing
"Nobody puts Baby in a corner." I remember my mother telling me at the ripe age of twelve that this is a film for every teenage girl to watch. A film that almost did not make it in the industry because of the concept with fantastic casting to boot. Worth the watch.

Balancing Barbie: a brutal task
Greta Gerwig is an expert tightrope-walker. Balancing a child’s entertainment with societal critique, the dangers of consumerism against the millions Mattel makes off this movie, and empowering women on the one hand versus unrealistic beauty standards on the other.

Hey Avatar, someone wants her story back
So you were the highest-selling movie of all time huh? I guess space + 3D = genius. Those fancy glasses of yours made people miss the real crime. Not mining Ubh-310, but taking what isn’t yours. How appropriate that it’s called Pandora.

The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane
Interesting 70s movie featuring a teenage Jodie Foster as Rynn Jacobs, the little girl of the movies title. The movie is both a testament to a better time, while being equally charming, romantic, devastating, and disturbing. Unexpected in its motives and topped of by an incredible score by Christian Gaubert.
