Anime
Death Parade is a bit gory, but a cute romance. The main character died and came to this bar-like place. The bartender was supposed to judge if she was going to be reincarnated or sent to the oblivion. The one problem is, he fell in love with her. Chiyuki enters the Quindecim bar to be judged. There is something different about her. She remembers how she died. The people that get judged after death have their memories of dying removed to get a better understanding of who they are. This makes it easier for the arbiters to decide where they go. The arbiter of Quindecim, Decim, is visited by Chiyuki, but the memories are not removed. So Nona, a former arbiter, decides that Chiyuki will help Decim until he decides where she will go. In the series, you learn the Nona had made Decim with human emotions to see if it would improve how the arbiters judge. When Chiyuki died, Nona purposefully left her memories alone. This made it hard for Decim to decide, so Nona gave him time to decide, and in that time, Chiyuki would help him run the Quindecim bar.

Pop Culture Guy episode 38: 5 Minute Reviews
For my 38th episode of my YouTube video web series, Pop Culture Guy, I did a series of quick reviews of a number of films I hadn't reviewed yet. I was inspired to do it in this style by the Fine Bros early videos, wherein they would tell the ending of certain films, television shows, or even YouTube videos in under a certain amount of time. Some I go into a lot of detail and others not a lot, and not sure if I will ever do it again.

Review: 'Roman J. Israel, Esq.'
When I heard about this and saw the trailer, everything about it had a 'true-story' feel to it, and yet it actually isn't. This is an original piece of work from Dan Gilroy, who debuted as a director with the highly entertaining Nightcrawler a few years ago.

The Eminence of 'Call Me By Your Name'
As a group of my four friends and I enter the famed Tower Theater in Little Havana, Miami on a gloomy Friday evening, none of us had any idea of the magnitude of the film we were about to watch. On the outside, Call Me By Your Name, directed by Luca Guadagnino, looks like your classic love story between two young men, yearning ever-so-desperately for one another.

'Bruce Lee In New Guinea,' Not Exactly As Advertised
For starters, the film doesn’t even star Bruce Lee. The leading man in this 1977 martial arts movie is actually Bruce ‘Li’ (born Ho Tsung-Tao) the actor thought by most kung fu flick aficionados to be the least horrible of the five or six professional look-a-likes that took to the screen after the tragic death in 1973 of the real Bruce Lee.

This Is The Greatest Show! Or Is It?
"Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve waited for!" I, like so many eager fans of musical theatre, have been anxiously awaiting the release of Hollywood’s newest musical The Greatest Showman. The film starring Zac Efron, Zendaya, Michelle Williams, and Rebecca Ferguson is inspired by the story of American showman, politician and founder of the Barnum and Bailey Circus, P.T. Barman, played fearlessly by the great Hugh Jackman, and follows Barnum from his humble beginnings to becoming "The Greatest Showman." And even though it continues to rake in at the box office and has even earned an Academy Award nomination, it has to be said that this passion project of Hugh Jackson’s, which took over 7 years to get made, is not without its faults. So, with that being said, I have a compiled a list of 10 reasons why I both loved and hated The Great Showman.

Review: 'Devilman Crybaby'
This past weekend, I finally got to unwind and catch up on all the new anime that’s been coming out. Aside from My Hero Academia (which I think is really good, so far), I finally got to sit down and watch Devilman Crybaby, a Netflix original that premiered on the platform on January 9th.

'Beauty and The Beast' 2017 Movie Review
First things first, I enjoyed the movie. I'm not saying it's worth an Oscar but it's not a terrible movie despite it being a remake. Compared to The Jungle Book and Cinderella Disney Remakes, I'd say it's worth an Oscar, hands down.
