Hoodwinked In My Sleep
I went to bed just like anyone else, I’ve had lucid dreams before, but this was something else, this was most likely an astral projection. I fell asleep peacefully when suddenly I became awake and conscious, it was pitch black, I couldn’t see anything, I soon became aware something had been placed over my head, shortly after the hood was lifted, standing in front of me, just over an arm’s reach away was a young, slim woman with large round red eyes piercing back at me, I instantly jolted with shock, but I didn’t awaken from this dream, so how could this be a dream? I was also aware there were others standing behind me, so I couldn’t run away, nor did I attempt too, if I could, where was I going to run?

The Girl With the Two Colored Eyes
The alarm jolted her out of her final attempt at a satisfying sleep and back to reality. It was done; today was the day she would become yet another homeless statistic in the grand old city of St. Augustine, Florida. She had finally found a job as a barista just a little too late to save the house she had started a happy marriage in and grieved a loving, indulgent husband in shortly after. But what was done was done and Reagan women didn’t give up or dissolve in the face of a challenge.

Search for your live mate, don't search for your soul mate,
You’re looking for a soulmate? Well, you’ve got it wrong! Don’t look for a soulmate but look for a livemate. You are setting yourself for disappointment because you have made it a priority to find a soulmate in order to have a positive relationship with someone who may be your mirror, since a soulmate is not intended to last. A life-mate, however, is intended to last. So which one are you going to prefer?

Curiosity
The crisp fall air whistled through the trees as it blew in from the north. The sun slowly started to set as Todd and vanessa finished their afternoon hike. They were both ecstatic to finally have a day off to get back to nature. As they started to turn back for their car, Todd noticed something in the distance that made him uncomfortable. Through a clearing on the trail, he could see a small open field.

It’s not unusual to hear sounds that aren’t really anything when you’re worked up from a scary show. Your imagination gets the best of you, but this time….there was something!!

A Conversation with an Old Friend
A Conversation with an Old Friend She tilted her head back and saw color. Pinks and greens seeped from the corners of her eyes and spread to the middle, leaving patterns doused in pigment. Her head felt heavy as pink and green Chrysanthemums bloomed in her irises.

Out of control
It was a rather mysterious morning at the Coldspring, quiet even, Only Fresh air brought by the wind from an endless lake Livingston caressed the nearby trees. This unsually peaceful place gave me time to rest in solitude, simply wrapped by its green grey beauty and stillness. I needed to keep going, the weather in a place like this could be whymsical I thought, besides I made a promise to myself to be in Houston today.

Owl is Well!
The valley was lit with the full moon's light and covered with a blanket of silence that was a signature of winter nights in this quiet countryside. The giant hay bales appeared like golden nuggets in the vast field which was otherwise barren, awaiting its sowing season.
