A room built outward: listening to 'In via di sviluppo'
There are debuts that arrive like press conferences. This one walks in and sits down. 'In via di sviluppo' keeps its shoulders narrow, lets arrangement do the talking, and asks you to listen rather than react. Guitars are placed like walls, electronics run along the baseboards, and the voice keeps a straight line through the middle. If you wait for spectacle, you’ll miss the point. Renaissance Festival War Stories Sept 20/21, 2025
Continued from week 4... "I'm not a 10..." One of my favorite new things I've been doing is to "enhance people's costumes." It isn't much, I don't even do anything myself - I instruct them how to style a cape if they are wearing one. The basic principal takes the cape from tying it on their collar bone to tying it behind their back and it changes the overall framing of their body. It works on about three out of four people because of the quality of the capes - ones who it doesn't work on, the strings on them are too short for the wrap around the back to work. One such man, in all dark clothing and reminded me of Ving Rhames. I tried to teach him this technique but his chest was too broad. He was barrel/ox-chested, and there was no way his cape strings were going to fit around his back.

Xavier Worthy
The name Xavier Worthy sent shockwaves through the NFL world the moment he was drafted. The Kansas City Chiefs, already a modern dynasty, made a aggressive move to secure the University of Texas wide receiver, a player whose most defining attribute is his game-changing, record-breaking speed. For Chiefs fans and fantasy football managers alike, the questions are immediate: What do the Xavier Worthy stats tell us? Is he the missing piece for the offense? And most pressingly, is Xavier Worthy playing through the common bumps and bruises of an NFL preseason?
