From Inmates To Millionaires
Take away all the excuses and remove all the rhetoric from the world and this is one of the most truthful dialogues I've heard in life. As I sit here, trying to develop my Vocal portfolio, looking for something to write about on this Saturday morning, I started thinking about winners. It's probably because I've been guilty of it, making the grand excuses and like some people, I stress and think about throwing in the towel. Unlike a lot of people, I keep getting back up. I keep trying new things and I keep going. That's the key, to keep going. Many find it easier to let themselves get bogged down by history, by fear, by their own perceptions that tell them they can't, they can't, they can't. I'd like to take a look at that for a moment or two.

The Chase
Last season I pedaled like a madman, and the tiger was hungry. A couple of times he almost got me, and in the closing race, he gave me a flat. This season has been different - I’ve been struggling to reach the top 20, slipping on rock sections, and constantly choosing the wrong lines. The tiger has become slow and uninterested. I think it’s because of the 20K sponsorship I got. The money made me careful, and I felt responsible to do well.

Tapping In
I do not even know where to begin to describe the feelings as of lately. They have literally been all over the place from up down happy sad miserable to elated. Maybe not so much elated, but short moments of okay-ness. So, this is nothing new, I always seem to meet myself at this place when I start to get antsy. I’m sure many can relate as of now due to good ol’ quarantining. However, this feeling was happening long before the COVID era.

Dear Anonymus user, THANK YOU !
Dear Anonymus user, the last few days have been rough. Yesterday marked exactly one week since I was last able to write. Or should I say - since I was last able to write something good, something I was proud of and something that I was willing to share with the world.

This Is Why Defining Success May Be a Bad Idea
If you have responsibilities, chances are you have conditions you consider ideal. When running a business or company, success may mean anything. Whether it is a specific revenue figure, an IPO, or a rewarding exit.

Between the Lines
I never thought that it would happen to me for a long time I thought that the Universe hated my very existence. I was only eighteen and already I was alone in this world. My father did what many fathers do, he went to the store and never came back. By the time I was ten my mom found somebody and he didn’t want kids and then she no longer wanted me. Donna Perkins my fifth-grade teacher took me in and the day after my high school graduation she died in her sleep. She didn’t have much and I was left with little but I wanted more. I mean I felt like my life had to have more meaning than this. So, I jumped on the Marta to head towards Einstein bagels in Midtown for a job interview. I felt like a ball of nerves pitted in the bottom of my stomach. My Manager name was Destiny and my crew member named was Faith. I felt as if the Universe was telling me that was life was going to change. On Saturday January 9, 2021 around eight-thirty that night, I ended my shift and was headed home, the rain began to pour down, the rain was so thick I couldn’t see anything and me with no umbrella, I just hopped on the nearest bus headed to the Five-point train station. It was very scary where I was standing so I decided to walk down a bit and while I was walking towards an escalator, I saw this little black book covered in hamburger drippings. I felt compelled to grab it, I know it seems crazy but I felt connected to it. I grabbed the book with a plastic bag and once I got home, I cleaned it off. It had no title so I was hesitant at first to open it but I was glad I did. The inscription that was written said “Between the lines of this book and the ability of your mind lies your manifest destiny”. I froze in excitement as my eyes leaped from excitement from one chapter to the next. This book went into details about how we self-sabotage, this book maps out in details the law of attraction. I dashed into my room and grabbed a note pad and pen and I put this law into action. Everday for three months I became clear of what I wanted, I began to meditate on it every chance that I had, I consistently worked towards my goals, I trusted the process and then one day it happened. I decided to play the Mega Million, it was at a billion dollars, (you think that I was silly) I was the only winner that night, so basically, I would get thirty million a year for the next twenty-nine years. I could change some lives of my own and I decided to give both Faith and Destiny five million dollars each, and I opened up the Donna Leigh Perkins home for girls. It's been very successful for a consecutive two years now, while I am in college Faith manages it. However, money does draw in the disloyal as well, of course both of them came back with their hands out. I told them both you didn’t love me enough to stay around, don’t try to love me now. It was my destiny to be able to find the little black book but my life didn’t change until I put my faith into action. We can wish, and hope but remember faith doesn’t move until you do!
