When it comes to washing our pups to make them squeaky clean, some of us are pretty precise on what type of shampoo to use. Because we know that there are shampoos out there that contain harsh chemicals that can irritate our dogs. Even if we wanted to get our hands on organic shampoos, just how expensive are those shampoos? Buying just two can empty out our wallets. And do we even dare spend so little on a cheap shampoo that might harm our dog? No way.

Why I Kept a Dumped Puppy
We all have those days that change the course of our lives, and for me , one of those days was January 2nd, 2014. The events leading to that morning really started the night before. It was a cold winter in Arkansas with a storm of freezing rain outside when the sound of a dog crying was heard outside the front door. We live in a good size town on a residential street not far from an intersection of two main roads. My husband went out to look and said he thought the neighbor's small black dog was in our open storage area. It was common for the dog to escape their fenced-in yard, so we decided to leave him because we figured they would be looking for him. So we went to bed without a further thought about it.

Surrounding the breed of the American Pit Bull Terrier is a lot of fear and a negative connotation about it and it’s history of aggressive behaviors. A lot of people are terrified by the breed purely based on what they’ve heard in the news reports and social media about dog attacks and what not, but I am here to tell you that in those cases most of the time the fault isn’t on the dog, it is on the owner.

Veterinarians Are Not Trying to Steal Your Money!
Let me clarify that MOST veterinarians are not trying to steal your money. I have worked in general practice and emergency, and both are expensive, even if your pet isn’t sick and it is just wellness with some vaccines. I have seen so many people become upset and angry when they get to the front and are about to pay, which is understandable, but having a pet is not cheap, and no one said it was! Especially when something goes wrong with your pet and you don’t have insurance or extra money on the side.

Why We Need Sharks
Believe it or not, sharks are one of the things stopping global warming from getting too bad and deadly. Phytoplankton are little organisms that thrive in the ocean. They convert most of the carbon dioxide into oxygen for the world and they provide Earth with 50-85 percent of the world’s oxygen. But fish feed on this phytoplankton and without the sharks feeding on these fish, the phytoplankton population will decimate. The world needs sharks, and people are finally starting to realize it.
