I

Hear, this little voice

That says,

Set me free,

from this awful place

It’s such a disgrace

Set me free

So, I can go rummaging

Through the trash

As, I ask

I’m just a Racoon

who wants to

torment you

With my burglar mask

For a face

With claws as sharp

As a knife

So I can climb,

high up in the trees

So you won’t get me

As,

I laugh,

at your face

High up

in the tree

Saying, you can’t get me

For I am the Racoon

Who never leaves

Until you cut

This tree

The park ranger

then catches,

me

puts me in

this awful cage

That I wish,

you’d set me free.

For I am the Racoon

that never leaves

humor

About the Creator

Jennifer lindquist

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
