humanity
The evolution of humanity, from one advancement to the next.
Victory Treasures
The light shone green and purple, and then red, pouring in through the windows. This was a big day and it was time for me to get up. Although we prepared the town square for the parade, there were still some last-minute things to take care of. Breathless, within moments I was running out to the street.

Into the Coup
A fresh and warm Monday morning fills the city of Calgary with positive energy and light. The pinks, yellows, and blues of the sunrise show this. A courier van parks out in the alley behind a small gem of a restaurant called, “The Coup.” An ethical vegetarian restaurant in the hip seventeenth avenue southwest district. The owner Ivy Lane, walks out of the backdoor, smiles, and waves to the van driver who opens the door to show her the fresh produce that she had ordered.

Being human
So as I've mentioned when I was younger I often wondered why I was born a human and not some other more abundant life form. Beginning with biomass the odds aren't exactly stacked against us. We still make up a very large portion of the biological mass on earth, but it is greatly outshined by the collective biomass outside the scope of human life. So how could we formulate a more satisfying reason? And why are we not composed of non-sentient matter which makes up an astronomically large proportion of the universe.

Apocalyptic Event
Are vaccines really helping? The human race has been made to believe if you get any of the vaccines you will be saved from contracting the corona virus, or any of the multitude of variants now circling the globe. And by having 'The Shot' their lives will return to a pre-2020 scenario.

What The Categorical Imperative Means For Your Life
Kant's works are among the most difficult philosophical works to read at all. During my studies, Kant's texts often drove me to despair. Philosophy was my minor subject, and I was certainly never a competent and perceptive philosopher.

Elon Musk is dangerous.
My upcoming book takes readers to Mars, 867 years into humanities’ future. Why so far ahead you’re wondering? The book involves terraforming Mars, a process that would make the Martian atmosphere suitable for humans, and allow Earth like plants and animals to roam the red planet freely. Terraforming a planet is possible, and we have the technology to do it now, it just takes a really long time. Sadly for us, the time variable of terraforming is unavoidable, regardless of the technology involved. In the book, I look at what would happen to Mars if it was taken over by the intellectual and financial elite. College professors, entrepreneurs, wealthy artisans, scientists, and the exuberant brilliant class. What would happen to a planet if they simply went there, without any real way to stop them, and appointed themselves rulers? What if the very rich (but also very ambitious) became the gatekeepers to an entire world?

The prophets never saw it coming
Max Brash stood in a bubble on the moon, ready to launch the most epic gender reveal party in the history of the human race. In front of him were nearly a hundred transparent monitors linked to his mission control – who was really just one person – his buddy Dave. The rest of the screens were reserved for the feed from dozens upon dozens of drones to capture every angle of this event.
