Zen and the Art of Not Listening

With deep, old friends, you can share a movie quote or a shared anecdote and SNAP into a relatable true moment. But what about a complete stranger? Could Universal Basic Income Empower A Fourth Branch Of Government To Build A More Perfect Union?
One of the biggest limitations with the US government is that, although the population has grown, the number of people making decisions has been roughly the same since the get go. Since the original population of 2 million in this country has grown to over 328 million, the number of legislators increased from 87 to 535 people, changing the percentage of our representation from .0045% of the population to .00016% of the population. While it may seem impressive that the size of Congress has increased by 515%, it doesn’t seem to be quite an adequate representation for the 16,300% growth in the population.

Across Time
The year is 3246. The sunrise has just woken me. As I rise up in bed I look out at it. It’s such a masterpiece. From this angle, it looks like I am sitting on top of the ocean watching it because my bedroom in on the fifth floor deck area built out onto the first hundred feet of the ocean, similar to a pier. Much of the home is safely on shore adjacent to the pier. The entire wall is extremely thick and shatterproof, just like every bit of the outer walls of my home. Nobody can see inside because it is a two-way though. It looks like a mirror when standing outside.

I told him I had a number of ideas surrounding different ways to try and make it more affordable for people our age to find reasonably priced housing. The law of attraction
It is 2021 and it is time to reset! Our Earth is rebirthing into a new world. The world is transforming and upgrading to higher levels of consciousness. Allow me to share a few words of wisdom and secrets of the universe. I am learning to practice manifestation through the law of attraction by increasing awareness and raising my consciousness. Anyone can do this. It is part of energy medicine. My journey into learning about energy work began last year. When the Covid 19 pandemic hit my city last March, followed by the lockdown, I was home-bound for three months. My entire world came crashing. Suddenly, I found myself having panic attacks and suicidal depression. The man of my dreams got married to someone else. My friends started to ghost me. I found myself all alone in my apartment staring at four walls. I began to self-reflect and ask myself what I ever did in this world to feel so alone. And so, began my journey of self-development.

The Lesson
All the children were born with a talent, some you noticed right away. The hungry newborn that would start to lift off their bassinet in the hospital. The first laugh that made the plants suddenly start swaying as if there were a wind blowing through the room. Others it took much longer to see, the hungry toddler who pointed at the cookie and it floated towards him on unseen hands, or the child on the first day of school who was nervous and a whole classroom of kids flocked around in a circle to comfort and ease the anxiety.
