2020 Update & Goals
2019 was one of, if not the hardest year of my life. 2019 was, without a doubt, the most transformative year of my life, and in some way or another, many of the challenges and changes that occurred over those 365 days have carried on into 2020.

Youth
Hey, my name is Valentino, I’m 15 years young and I’m here to create and influence others to do the same. I’m seeking to become familiar with the fashion industry. I know I’m still growing and have lots of learning to do and I’m comfortable with that. Mostly what sticks to me is moving forward and finding others that have the same level of ingenuity to make it. Art is evolving and we have the youth to insure that it always will.

New Beginnings, New Decade, New Life
As time goes by and your current reality is quite messy, it’s easy to get discouraged and want to throw in the towel. Life is a journey and no one every said it would be easy. Juggling kids who are depending on you to provide for their every need. Hustling constantly just to pay bills and debtors. Taking care of yourself and your home all on your own can cause a lot of mental stress.

new year, new goals.
last year was a year that taught me a thing or two. one of the main things that it taught me was that i give myself a lot of excuses and i’ve been a bit lazier than normal and i have nobody to blame but myself. i did a lot of things last year that i probably shouldn’t, but i has to learn. i had to grow and that’s what i plan on doing this year.

Use Friday’s Full Wolf Moon to Boost your New Years Resolutions
Moon magic is surprisingly accessible to people. A lot of it is tuning in to energies that already exist within nature and your body. We just get so caught up in the stresses of daily life that we hardly notice them. By tuning in to these energies, you can create magical results in your daily life.

You Only Think You Want to Be Rich
“Treasure what you have, not what you don’t.” — Dad I’ve always wanted to be wealthy, but I never looked at wealth as an end goal. I looked at doing good work, and raising brows with my writing. I wanted to make a difference and leave the world a better place than the one I entered.

Write here, write now
I loved to write. I still love to write. But I haven't consciously written for many years now. Back in the days of LiveJournal, Blogger, and when Wordpress was just starting out - around the turn of the millennium - I had a blog. It was real, it was honest, it was uncurated. Nobody knew me, except through my writing. And that allowed me to be relatable.

THE BOUGIE INSTRUCTOR
What a great rest stop! I was able to take a breather and reconstruct my thoughts on how I wanted to approach VARIABLE #6 of the Chain of Becoming & Staying Inimitable. If you missed out on the previous five variables, please, take the time to read my preceding stories.

Why New Years Resolutions Don't Work!
AS FAR AS I KNOW, JUST SETTING A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION DOESN’T EVER WORK (FOR ME ANYWAY). EVEN WHEN I WAS AT SCHOOL, I WOULD PROMISE MYSELF TO STUDY HARDER OR BE BETTER BEHAVED, THEN OTHER, MORE FUN THINGS ENTERED MY LIFE AND I FORGOT MY PROMISE TO MYSELF.
