Understanding your goals to help you achieve them.
Life leaves its marks
Today was the last session of an applicant who wanted to change her life. She came to me wanting to have the choice and feel good about how she lived her life. When I asked her what she wanted a year ago she told me that she was drawn to me by something I had said. She wanted to live by a code, find the discipline to create a life that made her feel proud, and get out of the funk that had stayed with her for years. She is one of the few people who asked to purchase a bundle of coaching sessions up front. She told me she was serious and I have seen few people dive into new knowledge, exercises, and expressions of identity like her. Designing one's life and inventing oneself is what I call Guru Services and the product is you! What happened on her last session today made me proud of the work I do and the people I touch.

I'm playing a long game of Influence. How do I know if my influence is making a difference?
The worst kind of waste is the discarded actions we do not recognize as worthy. We have the capacity to learn from most experiences we participate in. This is a question I have been asked over the years many times by those seeking to plan out their influence strategies. As we begin working with people there's a need to meet the person where they are and feel what is being shared is meaningful. We all seek to help in different capacities and there's no shortage of opportunities to challenge us when we are actively participating in life. As long as you are encouraging the subject's best self and your own, creating good memories with people around you, and assisting people by sharing your knowledge, nothing that you do can be wasteful. Inspire the best in each other as you learn, teach, and have adventures. Service is a performance art and we offer it to each other daily. You can remain silent and have someone be grateful you made sure they were not alone.

Manifesting Your 2020 Goals
Twenty-Twenty is here, and as per usual, most people flock to the saying of, "New Year, New Me" tune! It's cliche, and so it sounds good. However, reality is, that's not how you get to crush your goals. Talking East and walking West has never gotten anyone anywhere in life. You literally have to to walk the talk not just follow a trendy saying. So with that, I want to share with you four mindful yet practical ways in which you can set your 2020 on fire to be your absolute best year yet. And, to do that, there's both some inner and outer work that must be done first. Let's begin!

What's Your 2020?
Do you have it all figure out for the New Year 2020?, to be honest I thought I did; but the truth is I don't, and I realize it's okay. I wanted to do so much this year, and I know the year just beginning, but I just couldn't wait to get started, then it hit me, start what? I did not have a clue and I still don't. I guess my New Year's Resolution was inside my head, or just a dream I have not waken up from. New Year's 2020, got me thinking; I should just be happy that I survive another year, and I will be able to figure it out one day at a time, so my New Year's Resolution is I don't have any because I AM MY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION!

How to Achieve Your New Year's Resolutions
Now that it is the start of a new year, many of us have goals that we have set that we want to achieve. Whether your goal is to go to the gym more, to eat healthier, to get better grades, to find a new job, etc. You won’t be able to achieve your goal unless you stop procrastinating, and start being more productive throughout the day.

We all have shit we suck at.
We all have shit we suck at. We all have decisions we made that let down roads we wish we didn't have to go through. We all have embarrassing parts of our lives. Most of us have some area in our lives where we really feel like we need to get out shit together.

THE BOUGIE INSTRUCTOR
So, if you enjoyed reading my first story, I'm sure you are tuning in to Part 2, "The Mirror". And, you're probably wondering where does a "mirror" fit in to becoming INIMITABLE. Just to refresh your memory, in Part 1 of my story series, I emphasized "PASSION" and why it's important for you to marry your PASSION. I also mentioned that "PASSION" is a key variable in becoming INIMITABLE.

THE BOUGIE INSTRUCTOR
Where do I begin? Let me start with the year 2003, when I graduated nursing school. I knew I wanted to be the best at whatever I did...or at least, close to the best. And, I always wanted to be someone who had the ability and means to change the lives of others for the better. I needed guidance...I needed empowerment...I needed someone to guide me through my journey to help me get to where I wanted to be--on top--or, close to the top.

A year sober - why I'm quitting booze and sugar
It's New Year's day 2020, and today is the day I try to quit both booze and sugar for an entire year. I know what you're thinking, I'm an idiot, but hear me out. There have been a number of factors that have brought me to this decision which I will no doubt go in to at depth in future posts, but the crux of it comes down to this - I've realised that I have terrible relationships with both sugar and alcohol, and at 34 years old it's time I change that.

Minimalism and Zero Waste Lifestyle
Minimalism and zero waste are two of the newest trends today. But, what does that even mean? Both of these have a variety of answers and versions of what being a minimalist and zero waste means. Is it even possible to be 100 % zero waste, especially in today’s society?
