Simple Self Confidence Tips for Anyone
In about every facet of our lives, self-confidence is highly crucial, yet many individuals are struggling to discover it. Unfortunately, this can be a vicious cycle: it can be hard for individuals who lack the self-confidence to succeed. Individuals whom are confident are adored by other people and inspire trust in others. They endure their worries face-on and are more likely to be natural risk-takers. They understand that whatever barriers they may encounter, they have the capacity to overcome almost anything. Also when situations don't go so excellently, self-confident individuals tend to see their life in a favorable light and are typically content and respectful of themselves.

Existential Beauty
This process between heart and mind can be pretty messy. I have always struggled with uncertainty and have needed things to make sense. But I have been learning these past few years that things mostly do not make sense, that there isn't always visible or easily detectable rhyme or reason. There is logic there, however, if we look deeper, but it won't stand out or fit easily into the perception of the world that we each create. It won't always feel nice or comfortable either. Life isn't fairytales. It doesn't work out (mostly) the way in which we imagine it to. I have learned that courage is choosing to face and understand it anyway. When we are suffering, we benefit most by feeling it so that we can then know times of joy when they arise. There is no answer or fairy godmother, just realness in its rawest form. Each moment has the potential for learning.

Reflections on Life
Today I turned 67. I found myself thinking about my life, the decisions I have made and the consequences of each. I think hormones are to blame for most of my problems, those pesky little urges you get when you see the opposite sex and your eyes are popping out of your head. I believe I was born loving men because when I was just a little girl I remember getting crushes on boys who were a lot older than me. They were maybe as old as seven or eight, but I was only four. Oh, how those pesky hormones ran my life. I believe out of the five marriages I've had, most of them were hormone-driven. Problem is when that urge wears off, and it will, the person you are left with is neither your best friend nor are they someone you have a lot in common with. That leads to boredom and mistrust which can cause all sorts of problems. I never stuck around longer than three years, except for my last husband. He and I were together for about 18 years if you count the times we lived together. I did hate it when he introduced me as his wife and we had already gotten the divorce, but he finally got the message.

Purpose
What is the fundamental need behind expression? Is it identity, passion, being, knowing? What do we do with knowledge of ourselves and each other? What we dream and imagine, our choices shaping our path within spacetime, but where are we going, and most importantly why?

The Greatest Book Ever Written
“Some of the kindest souls we know have lived in a world that was not so kind to them. Some of the best human beings we know, have been through so much at the hands of others, yet they still love deeply, they still care. They forgive. They live. Often it is the people who have been hurt the deepest whom refuse to be hardened in this world. If that is not something to be in awe of; I don't know what is.”

Into the Fray
Hello everyone. It’s been a while I know. For a handful of reasons, one being I changed phones and lost all my drafts. Not good. Secondly, I’ve had a severe case of writer's block and I have only just had a sudden spurt of creativity, so I’m acting upon it. Thirdly, I’ve been working my ass off, non stop, every week so it’s hard to fit in time to sit down and write. But here I am, and I have a feeling this is going to be a positive piece. An enjoyable read nonetheless but a happy one.

Split Realities
"You were born into this world alone and you will die alone."—The Buddha The goal of enlightenment is to keep yourself vibrating at the highest level of love. I have been studying and practicing Ho'oponopono lately and it has propelled me into a blissful state of being. Basically, it's a mantra of "I Love You" all the time. Of course, there is much more than this, but this is the main concept. This vibration links you to the divine, and linked do I feel. I have been getting rockstar parking spots, free drinks at bars, and offers on projects. It seems as if my life is on track. I have finally stepped into my vortex, and life was unfolding just as it should. Yesterday, as I sat in a cabana, soaking in the sun, margarita in my hand, I thought, this is it. I am in my flow and life does not get better than this.
