The world has become decentralized
"The answer to the pain of grief is not a way to get out of it, but how to feed yourself within yourself." ~ Unknown Ever since I lost my husband Matt more than eight months ago due to cancer at just thirty-nine years old, I have seen so many changes happen inside me, and one of those changes is the burning sense of self-defense that I have because of my grief.

What I've learned along the way
Life has been anything, but easy. By the age of 28 I had lost both of my parents, have known loss and trauma and pain, every year since, I was about 7. I have taken care of my handicapped brother my entire life, so to say that I grew up quickly is an understatement. I have taken care of the elderly and disabled since I was 17. I have learned so much from so many. My mother had Psychosis and was in and out of hospitals since I was 16. She died in a terrible car wreck, while completely sleep "walking". In losing her, I lost myself. But, where there is great pain, there is great healing underneath. I learned at a very young age that everything is a lesson, and the sooner you realize what that lesson is, the sooner your soul growth and expansion takes place. I grew up it a very metaphysical/spiritual family with gifts that I thought everyone had. We are all arguing over the same thing. All we need to know, is LOVE will win, Unconditional love is literally a frequency and it flows through us all. I know GREAT pain, But I also know great LOVE. The lessons I've learned, I want to share with others in hopes that maybe it could help others to navigate their feelings and thoughts. I know that everyone has to go through the process, no one can do it for you. BUT maybe just maybe this could be a cheat sheet to get to that lesson a little easier.

Living life happier
“Don't be afraid to go out on foot. That's where the fruit is. ”~ H. Jackson Browne At the age of 15, I “died” for a minute or so and then came back to life. The worst case scenario for bronchitis lasting more than a week has caused my toothbrush to death. What made the situation worse was my allergies to a single drug.

The art of making things happen
“Never underestimate the feeling of gut. But never believe that it is enough. ”~ Robert Heller A few months ago, when I almost finished producing a teleseminar and spent so much time listening to a computer, I decided to do something different. Something that can bring me happiness, that can take me out of my normal routine and make me truly happy.

Strong, Independent Woman. Top Story - June 2021.
Note from the Author: To be completely honest, this is my sixth entry for the Members-Only Challenge. This contest has sparked something in me that I can hardly contain; which means I am also having trouble containing my thoughts. Every piece I write gets closer and closer to what I’m really trying to say, but it’s such a grand topic to cover in less than five thousand words. This time, though, I will focus my thoughts, feelings and desires, so that I can share with you the dream in my heart.

How to create positive energy
“Everything we are is the result of what we thought. The mind is everything. We think we become. ”~ Buddha You experience and create all sorts of different energies that affect how you feel and what you accomplish throughout your day. Some forces are powerful and easily recognizable, while others are subtle and often sound only accurate. I believe it is fair to say that everything, in a sense, is power.
